Hoku.chest is a combination of asymmetrical, regular composition and light construction.
HOKU.chest is a light chest of drawers, levitating above the ground on delicate but insanely stable steel legs. HOKU series is a combination of plywood and steel, eager to be customised and improvised with in terms of particular modules.
Hoku.chest is a piece of furniture with a big presence, but an ethereal form. Use regularly arranged closed modules (drawers and cabinets) to store things like books, albums and trinkets.
When creating this chest of drawers, we were inspired by Danish contemporary design and innovative design projects of the 70s.
Thanks to the elegant combination of plywood and metal, HOKU chest will work perfectly in modern apartments, lofts, offices and studios. It can be used as a chest of drawers in the living room or bedroom. Thanks to its enormous capacity and slim form, it will be the focal point of your apartment.

Production
HOKU.chest is handmade from start to finish, each element is hand-finished.
We use high-quality birch plywood with FSC certificate and with low formaldehyde emission. The plywood is hand-crafted and finished is such matter, to make the surface user friendly.
We finish the plywood with natural oil waxes which have safety certificates for children, they are also resistant to abrasion, dirt and hydrophobic.
Customization
When creating a HOKU.chest chest of drawers, we want to allow ourselves a bit of madness,
so choose the color of steel legs or fronts of closed modules yourself according to the RAL palette!
